I love the unexpected.
On a recent trip to San Antonio, I figured The Alamo would be a quick stop to check it out and pick up a souvenir for my Father (a history buff). And while the building and its history were a revelation themselves, I fell in love with the grounds. Beautifully manicured, my early morning visit was such a peaceful respite on an otherwise hectic trip.
